How does BidFinance work for sellers?

Adding a portfolio (5 min)

The seller adds the register and documents needed for portfolio valuation through the Platform.

We support each seller in preparing the portfolio itself and preparing the portfolio sales strategy, setting auction parameters.

Portfolio analysis and active pre-sale (2-5 days)

BidFinance team performs a preliminary analysis of the portfolio regarding documentation and place the auction on the platform. After placing the portfolio on the Platform, the BidFinance team begins active pre-sale of the portfolio on the market.

Auction (15 min - 2 h)

The auction lasts from 15 to 120 minutes. All buyers who have been allowed to participate in the auction by the seller take part in the auction and compete with each other. The seller can see who has downloaded documents and viewed their portfolio and can see every bid made by buyers.

Auction results and formalisation of the contract

After the auction, the seller receives the 3 highest offers.

After selecting the best offer, the Seller contacts the Buyer directly to finalize the agreement.

How does the English auction on BidFinance work?

English auction — one in which the portfolio price starts from the starting price and Buyers compete for the portfolio by making bids in real time, gradually increasing the price for the portfolio.

The seller has full control over the auction conditions, including deciding which companies will be admitted to the auction.

The seller has access to buyer activity statistics (downloads, views, offer statistics).

After the end of the auction, the seller receives the three largest offers and has the right to accept any of them.

How the BidFinance Hybrid Auction works

Hybrid auction — auction consisting of two rounds (1) closed tender and (2) English auction. During the first round, buyers submit their offers. The second round starts with the highest price achieved in the closed tender.

A hybrid auction is used when the seller is unable to value the portfolio and asks the market for a valuation.

The seller has full control over the conditions of the closed tender and the companies admitted to the English auction.

After the second round of the hybrid auction ends, the seller receives the three largest offers and has the right to accept each of them.
